Jocklene Zweifel
Executive/WORSHIP Pastor
II am life long Hoosier. I don’t ever remember NOT singing (my family wishes that they could). Other than worshipping Jesus, there is nothing I would rather do than to spend time with my Husband ( A farmer from New York… turned Chemist) and our two young adult children who are in school pursuing God’s call on their lives. I attended Anderson University where I studied Music and I’ve been so fulfilled by leading worship at Charity for over 30 years (I started young). I also now find growth and challenge in the Executive Pastor role - of which my favorite part is mentoring our incredible staff and overseeing the day to day operations of the church.
Favorite scripture: Create in me a Clean heart, and renew a right spirit within me

Kameron Poindexter
Student PASTOR - Xenox
Originally from NC, I moved to Indy in 2017 with my beautiful wife, Lucero and our three children: Daniela, Abigail, and Josiah. I love spending time with family and friends, meeting new people, Utah Jazz and UNC basketball, and eating good food. My favorite pastime is reading a good biography, preferably at a local Starbucks. The most fulfilling part of being the Student Pastor is seeing young people connect with God’s Family, grow in their relationship with God, and find their place in God’s Master Plan.

Debbie Gerstenberger
Early Childhood Director
I remember distinctly, the moment God put a deep love in my heart for the ‘babies’ of Charity Church! It was even before we moved back to Indiana from Tennessee, after my husband Bob, was hired as the Children’s Pastor! That deep love has carried me and taught me and encouraged me as my passion is to put the Word of God in their hearts. My theme verse is Psalm 119:11. “I have hidden Your Word in my heart that I might not sin against You."

Diane Law
OFFICE manager
Being born and raised in Indianapolis, my heart belongs to Indy. I gave my heart to the Lord here at Charity when I was a little girl and got married and dedicated my daughter at Charity. Serving as the office manager for Charity Church is my dream job and I've been blessed to be doing it since May of 2021. My favorite things are spending time with family, watching documentaries, being at church, visiting the Appalachian Mountains (especially GATLINBURG), Christmas shopping all year long, college basketball (go WV Mountaineers!), the Indy 500, and collecting vinyl. I love smiling, it's my favorite.

WOMEN’S MINISTRY
I'm just a small-town girl with a big heart for the whole world to come to Jesus. That is my dream! I unashamedly, unapologetically, LOVE JESUS! He is my everything! I so enjoy studying God's Word and preaching and teaching the life changing truth found there. I met my amazingly talented carpenter husband David 35 years ago, and we are happily married with 4 grown children and 5 grandchildren. I surrendered my life to Jesus 23 years ago, and my husband came back to The Lord about 12 years ago, and we've never looked back. We love serving our family and church together in any way we can. In my free time I enjoy writing, spending quality time with family and friends, and making precious memories with them all.
I currently oversee Women's Bible Study and Women's ministry, and serve on our Pastoral team at Charity Church. What a wonderful blessing & honor it is to get to serve Jesus alongside this amazing team of Pastors at Charity! My favorite thing about this job is I get to help others grow in their knowledge and understanding of God's Word, while at the same time we are all growing in our gifts and callings in Christ. I I could never THANK God enough for his grace and mercy in my life! If I had a life hashtag it would be #HALLELUJAH

April Richardson
FINANCE Administrator
I was born and raised in Indy. I met my husband at Charity Church when I was 15. I attended IUPUI, married, and raised my two children at Charity. I love numbers, (hence my job in finance) children, cooking, HGTV, and chocolate, not necessarily in that order. My husband & I purchased an old farm and we are currently renovating but enjoy having big family dinners in the middle of construction! Psalm 91 is my go-to scripture for all of life's adventures!

David Gibson
Pastor Emeritus
I am considered the Charity Church “HISTORIAN”; notice I didn’t say Historic Person. I say this because I was raised in this wonderful church. My parents, Louis and Hazel Gibson founded Charity in 1952, and I was blessed to Pastor here for over 37 years. Loving God’s CALL in my life, and now getting to hang around and simply do anything I can to keep reaching “The Mark” and fulfilling our purpose in Indianapolis is an honor that I love.
I enjoy riding my Motorcycle, fishing, having fun with my grandkids, and enjoying life. I decided years ago to Live Till I Die, and Finish Strong. By HIS Grace, I will.
